General conditions of sale and use

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

The Customer acknowledges having read, at the time of placing the order, the general conditions of sale set out below and expressly declares to accept them without reservation.

These general conditions of sale will prevail over all other conditions appearing in any other document or pages of the site, unless prior, express and written exemption.

These conditions only concern non-commercial individuals, aged at least 18 and having the legal capacity to contract.

Basket1life reserves the right to adapt or modify these general conditions of sale at any time. In the event of modification, the general conditions of sale in force on the day the order is placed will be applied to each order.

ORDER

The automatic recording systems implemented by Basket1life are considered proof of the nature, content and date of the order.

The Customer has the possibility of modifying his basket before final validation, this step formalizing the scope of the offer made to the Customer by Basket1life.

Basket1life confirms acceptance of the order to the Customer at the email address that the Customer has provided. The order constitutes an offer to purchase from the customer, the sale will only be concluded once the order is shipped.

Basket1life reserves the right to cancel any order.

The information provided by the buyer when placing the order is binding on the buyer. In the event of an error in the wording of the recipient's contact details, the seller cannot be held responsible for the impossibility of delivering the product.

DELIVERY

Any order validated by direct payment before 12 p.m. (Monday to Friday) is shipped before 48 hours. Depending on traffic, some Friday afternoon and weekend orders may be shipped the following Tuesday.

The cost of delivery, which takes into account the delivery address given by the Customer, is calculated prior to final validation and is integrated in detail into the agreed price. This is only the cost of transport which does not take into account any import taxes outside the European Union.

Delivery is made by the carrier chosen by the customer or by the subcontractor chosen by this carrier depending on the destinations.

For all shipments outside the European Union or to the French Overseas Territories, the customer must pay any import fees or customs taxes. We will invoice excluding VAT according to the legislation.

War, riot, fire, strikes, accidents and the impossibility of being supplied with raw materials are considered as force majeure relieving the seller of his obligation to deliver.

We invite you to check the apparent condition of the products upon delivery. Regardless of the carrier and in the presence of an apparent anomaly (damage, damaged package, etc.), you must unpack the package in the presence of the delivery person and enter detailed handwritten reservations with the delivery person signing alongside them. The reservations made by the recipient upon delivery constitute means of proof of the existence and extent of the damage. Be sure to be precise and complete in their writing (the simple mention “subject to unpacking” is considered too general and imprecise), and inform the company by registered mail within three (3) working days following delivery of the item. your package.

BACK

Our product can be refunded in the event of dissatisfaction. The customer undertakes to thoroughly test this method by following our recommendations for use throughout the trial period, i.e. 30 days. Returns on used product are only possible once per customer and delivery address, so there is only one trial period possible, not several.

The item to be returned must be intact, complete and packaged in a box.

Reimbursement for returned products will be made within 14 days of receipt of the return by the logistics center. The refund will be made to the payment method used when ordering. The refund amount is equal to the purchase amount minus shipping costs, in other words we refund the price of the product. Any return for refund request made outside of the 30-day trial period will be refused.

In order to ensure the processing of the refund request, the customer must use the returns registration page, accessible at the very bottom of the website under the “Returns” tab. You will then receive the return address and return instructions by email. When you send your package, we ask you to write your name and address as well as your order number on the sender's address. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

PRICE

Prices are indicated in euros including VAT or excluding VAT depending on the destination.

These prices exclude fixed contribution to processing costs (postage, packaging and preparation of the package according to the amounts in force).

They take into account the VAT applicable on the day of the order.

PAYMENT

The price invoiced to the Customer is the price indicated on the order confirmation sent by Basket1life. The price of the products is payable in cash on the day of the actual order (except deferred payments)

Credit card

Credit card payments are authorized and processed by Stripe. We use a secure transactional site to send credit card data to Stripe.

DISPUTES

This contract is subject to French law.

Basket1life cannot be held responsible for damage of any nature which could result from the misuse of the product sold. The company cannot be held responsible for errors or omissions which may have occurred despite all the precautions taken in the presentation of the product.

RIGHT TO RETRACT

When purchasing products on the website https://basket1life.com/ the Customer has a legal right of withdrawal.

9.1. Information on the right of withdrawal

The Customer has the right to withdraw from this contract without giving any reason within fourteen (14) days. The withdrawal period expires fourteen (14) days after the day on which the Customer himself, or a third party other than the carrier and designated by the Customer, takes physical possession of the good or the last good in the event of partial delivery.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer can also complete and transmit the return form in electronic form, using the return form available on the website https://basket1life.com/. If the Customer makes use of his right of withdrawal, Basket1life will send within a reasonable time an acknowledgment of receipt of his corresponding declaration (for example by email). To respect the withdrawal period, the Customer must send Basket1life the withdrawal declaration before the expiry of the fourteen (14) day period set out above.

The Customer must return or return the product to Basket1life without delay and, in any event, at the latest within fourteen (14) days from the day on which the Customer notified his wish to exercise his right of withdrawal.

This deadline is respected if the Customer ships the goods before the expiry of the aforementioned fourteen (14) day period. Return costs are the responsibility of the Customer.

The Customer must bear the loss of value of the returned product if this loss of value is due to handling other than those necessary to ensure the nature, characteristics and correct functioning of the product.

9.2. Effects of withdrawal

In the event of withdrawal notified under the conditions set out in article 9.1., Basket1life will reimburse the Customer for all payments received from him, including delivery costs at the latest within fourteen days (14) from day on which Basket1life became aware of the declaration of withdrawal.

Customs fees and any import fees are not refunded.

Basket1life will reimburse using the same payment method that the Customer used when placing the order, unless Basket4life expressly agrees on a different payment method.

The refund is free of charge for the Customer. Basket1life reserves the right to defer reimbursement until Basket1life has received the product or until the Customer has provided proof of shipment of the product, the date chosen being that of the first of these events.
